Subject: THE SUN Date: Mon, 16 May 1994 10:57:37 -0400 (EDT) From: Wes Parham <parham@phoenix.cs.uga.edu> Ah, the talk of rendering the SUN comes at a good time for me. I'm working on getting together an aniamtion which takes place both on the Earth and on the surface of the Sun. For the Sunscapes, I'm obviously going to need more than just alot of yellow surfaces. After viewing 'im_sun.jpg' off of the Aminet, I'm struck by the absolute sense of light achieved. To the creator of this image and any others in the know: What aspects do I need to consider to give something such a blinding glow? I see the breakdown on this particular object, but have a feeling that there's more than the picture alone can tell. Wow, hurts the eyes just glimpsing over at the other monitor now.... wes~ -=> RETURN TO CONTENTS!<=-
